Elon Musk's Hyperloop described here and here.
His idea is to serve between Los Angeles and San Francisco... I'd like to see it applied to Montreal-Toronto.
I wrote this in 2006 which is not totally dissimilar.
It is no surprise that he gets more attention than I do.

I don't see how anything could go wrong with that.
Me either and I really hope the decision makers in California reverse their high speed rail plan and put Musk's hyperloop in action instead. It would be amazing to see this in action.
