So the counter is in, as is the new sink, the shallow cabinet, the missing door, the handles for the drawers, just a few things left before it's done. Tomorrow morning a guy will come to install the backsplash. Wednesday this coming week, the electrician is coming to finish up the electrical work. Following that, pretty much done.

    Beautiful, well lit, homey. I wouldn't like the glass cooktop for myself, but it's a valid preference, and very attractive.

    Induction cooktops only come this way, and it is really a terrific alternative to a gas cooktop, which is not available here because there is no gas line underground.
