Nicaraguan Independence Day

Imagine lying on the beach at Lago de Managua in mid-September enjoying the warm sun, and staying until midnight when the fireworks show starts. I'm guessing that government stability has improved since the 80's, but since Mitch struck this country in 1998 it has had a little trouble recovering.
