autostart=false not working

I don't know about you, but both my computer at home and at work keep replaying the audio post I did a few days ago automatically when I load up the blog. There is a setting called 'autostart' that I have set to false which means it should not start automatically, and yet it does.

Maybe I need to look for a different embed code.

ghost's post from a few days ago where he posted the art of his students has inspired in me the idea of trying my own hand at painting or art. Of course, given my time constraints, it will only ever be an idea.

It is looking more and more like my 200Amp input into the house, given the existing demands of those 200Amps, will not allow for an electric tankless water heater. Hopefully an electrician visit will have me giving opposite news for which I will be both grateful and thankful.

I was trying to contemplate a subject that would describe the action of leaning forwards as far as, but not quite at, the point at which you would fall forward. I could not, however, conceive of a way to express this succinctly.

Perhaps next time I will endeavour to find a subject that is more easily expressed.

French is a language that I speak in addition to English. I do not have nearly the same vocabulary prowess in French as I do in English, however, I manage to get by in the circumstances that are needed whenever I need to speak French living in a mostly French society.

Francais est un langue que je parle comme je parle anglais aussi. J'en ai pas autant de mots de vocabulaire en francais que en anglais, mais, je me debrouille dans les circomstances ou c'est necessaire de parler francais parce que je suis dans une societé francophone.

So I was listening to CBC Radio 2 this morning, Tom Allen's replacement spoke briefly about Guerilla Poetics. I am deeply intrigued and want to be an Operative, it is just a challenge to convince the missus to spend money on what seems so frivolous during a time when we need to save money for an impending long lasting mortgage payment increase.

Is the need for poetry promotion sufficiently high that I can explain to her that this is an important cause worth the 25$ fee to receive the broadsides?

Barnacle flavours

So I've decided to not add audio to all of my posts, but now and then I will do so. I don't know if a pattern will develop or if a predictable frequency will turn up. One thing I was hoping to do and I'll still see if I can figure it out would be to post the lyrics of a song, which I occasionally do, and rather than have me read them, play just that portion of the song. I haven't found a website yet, however, that would allow me to download for free just the part of the song that I would want, so I may have to rely on other means.

run update

I ran last night in this unseasonably warm fall weather we've been having here and managed to do a personal best of 23:02 for a 5km run where I even walked for 30 seconds during the third km. I pushed hard because I want to be ready to get into the 22 minute zone for the race on October 14th. If I can even push a little harder still I could conceivably be under 22 minutes if I can get enough training sessions in between now and then.
