run update

I have a throat infection, I'm on pennicilin, I've had a low level fever and headache since Saturday. It looks like I'll only be able to train again on Saturday at the earliest, that leaves only one full week before the race on Sept 16th. I guess I won't be breaking the 20 min mark.

three arrows is significant only for the three who can no longer see them. three have fallen. three have ascended.

In secret agent school they had wild dogs chase us

That's the trouble with training for races, something nearly always happens to undermine your plans.

Hope you get better soon. Weren't you sick not long ago?

ghost: such an excellent way to remember them, then

oe: I figure that it won't be dogs, but competitors, that will help encourage me to keep running on race day

deb: yes, I have been more sick as of late - this is why my m-in-law and wife are insisting I get all sorts of blood tests and a check-up and so on... oh well, I am bound to become moribund someday.

If you've been training quite abit that could be the reason why you're getting run down. Here's a few hints...which may or may not help. 1. Protein powder - Most people find this horrible because in water it is. Try it in yoghurt, you get extra calcium that way. Best to have it straight after a run or in the afternoon when you are tired.
2. L-glutamine. Its an amino acid that body builders use because when your body is under stress (when training) it will break down muscle to access this amino acid. It should also help build up your bodys resistance to bugs going around.
3. Coloidal Silver. Google it. Some say its good, some say its not. Works in my family. If one person gets a cold we all start using it. We can only get it from health food shops here.
4. Chiropractor Worked well for Teeny Tiny.

Tell your wife you've spoken to doctor debbie & now you'll be just fine & dandy.

I hope you're feeling okay!

I'm definitely going to struggle when the race comes around, but I'll give it a shot!
