So I was listening to CBC Radio 2 this morning, Tom Allen's replacement spoke briefly about Guerilla Poetics. I am deeply intrigued and want to be an Operative, it is just a challenge to convince the missus to spend money on what seems so frivolous during a time when we need to save money for an impending long lasting mortgage payment increase.
Is the need for poetry promotion sufficiently high that I can explain to her that this is an important cause worth the 25$ fee to receive the broadsides?

You could try my trick. Wait till your 'other' blows money on something you consider a total waste then get all self righteous and insist that you too have the right to blow money.

It is difficult to catch my wife in frivolous spending as she seems to always have a very rational explanation.
With respect to shoes, she isn't in to that.
