Happy Birthday!!!!!
It must be so difficult as a child to have your birthday on February 29th. How must it feel to not have the day of your birthday so often? As an adult it is probably just a jeering joke among friends, but having gone through life as a child with this day as a birthday must have an impact on becoming an adult.
As a result I would like to wish everyone who was born on February 29th a most fantastic birthday this year - celebrate it as if you were combining the last three years into this one.

my ex wife was born on leap year.
I think people born on this date know how to take full advantage of it...
I don't think it makes much difference, 'cos often, you don't celebrate your birthday on the actual date of your birth; you celebrate it on the weekend closest to the date (and when it happens to fall on a Wednesday, it's always a hassle to figure out when you should celebrate it - the weekend before or after.)
So really, we all celebrate our birthdays on the proper date five out of every seven years. I'd like to figure out a formula to figure out if people born on leap years would celebrate on their actual birth date more often or less often than five out of every seven times. This may take me some time (or I'll try and fail and never mention it again [the second option is a more likely possibility {are there likely possibilities, or does not the word possibility imply a neutral and unchangeable potential of likelihood?}]).
* i erred: we all celebrate our birthdays on the proper date TWO out of ever seven years, when it happens to fall on the weekend (that is, Friday or Saturday; Sunday doesn't count since you'd generally have work on Monday.)
At least they would never have to face a 50th birthday.
