It must have been

Well then, we celebrated J's 30th birthday yesterday. She was happy about the Wii and Wii accessories she received, but she looked a little despondent as she is frustrated at being single at this age. She has a lot going for her but hasn't been able to find a guy for which the relationship was able to last. Maybe this will be her lucky year.

The Canadiens won last night in overtime - that Kovalev goal must have sent the decibels higher than PVM.

We are celebrating my son's sixth birthday tomorrow, at 11:00AM there are about ten of his schoolmates arriving for a kids party that is scheduled to end at 13:30, and then at 17:00 we have friends and family coming over. It promises to be a busy day.

Speaking of G, he is currently registered in swimming lessons, has already been registered for soccer this summer, and I have filled out the form for him to start baseball this summer. There will be lots of driving him to places, hopefully some of the parks where these events are happening are within cycling distance. Beavers is ending soon, so that will be one less event for him to go to, however, I have already received the registration package for him to do it again next year and was asked if I wanted to be a Beaver Leader. I'll have to think about it.

I have made the decision to not do any running races this year after all. It is a little hard because of how much I enjoyed running the race, but I simply do not have enough time to train for the races. I can afford to take a Saturday or Sunday morning off of everything else five times this summer to run five races, but I can't afford to train for fourty minutes every second day. There are simply too many things we need to get done having just moved into a new house four months ago. I am hoping that if I can commit to filling as much spare time I have into getting the things done on our list of things to do that by next summer I'll be in a better place for running.

My gardening is making progress, soon I will need to start building the SWCs that I will be using for the garden. You can check the progress at GoingGreen, the website my buddy Mike and I have started to show how we are going green.

I have run out of topics for this post.

it amuses me that when referring to a group of youngsters invading your space for the duration of a few hours you use military time. like its some sort of mission you must complete, must endure.

Happy Birthday to your little man.
Hope you have industrial ear plugs and asprin. Asprin is a must. If you do not have asprin you will need bourbon. Lots of bourbon.
