Making the most of

There was a news article on the radio this morning indicating that a survey was taken and that Americans are doing more to cut down on driving, fuel consumption and consumer spending due to rising fuel prices as compared to Canadians.

I, for one, have paid closer attention to coasting wherever possible, reducing the number of trips by car, have started to use my bicycle periodically, accelerate less agressively and have started monitoring tire pressure on a more regular basis.

With respect to consumer spending, well... we still have all sorts of house renovations we want to do since we just moved in six months ago.
