Being reminded of some event through the olfactory senses can sometimes be a very vivid and compelling experience. I did not have such an experience this morning.
Making room for other people while sitting on the bus is the correct and polite thing to do. It is called consideration and is a pet-peeve of mine when people are inconsiderate, especially in logistical scenarios. For example, people who stand at the top of an up-moving escalator to have a conversation.
The 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing begins in a little over a month.
