sandwiched between flaws and ignorance

For the second day in a row I brought zero dollars with me to work thus preventing me from purchasing a mid-morning snack.

In the last few months I have been purchasing gourmet chocolate chip cookies that are usually warm from the oven. I have been trying to stop eating these so as to not gain weight.

I have found that the easiest way to not buy them is to not have any cash on hand with which to purchase them. Other days when I have done this I had the foresight to pack a snack in my lunch to take the place of these cookies. Today I did not.

I could borrow money from a coworker but that would defeat the purpose. Perhaps I will go and get some water to see if that helps subside my hunger. As tomorrow is Friday, I will be sure to bring money for the cookies as a special treat. All of the calories I burned yesterday shoveling snow needs to be offset by something, right?

For those of you who have recognized the pattern I used above in past posts, if you recognize it again, I salute you. For everyone else, there is a pattern to this post which does not include this paragraph. Well, it could include this paragraph if a certain condition was met. What is the condition, you ask? The condition is that this last sentence is included.

Keep this up and you'll have a book in no time. Well, faster if you were increasing algebraically instead of arithmetically.

I can only imagine what the number of sentences would have to be in the last paragraph of such a book.
