Push-ups

So yes, I finally broke down and did some push-ups. For those of you doing the 100 push-up challenge, I commend you and wish you all the best of luck.

I did four sets of 20 push-ups per set a few moments ago. Between each set I counted 70 heartbeats. Doing it this way meant the gap between sets decreased as I progressed as my heart rate increased.

The day after tomorrow I will attempt four 21 push-up sets, and progress that way until I can do 4x25. Then I will start to do 3x33 with 34 in the middle one. Then I'll try 2x40 and work up to 2x50. Then 1x75, 1x25, and from there work up the first set while working down the second set. We'll see how it goes.

nice, I like your method! Kinda seems that you'd need to be in better shape to follow your program - perhaps I'm not there, i don't know - but I might try this method as well...

are you doing this daily, or 3 times a week, or what?

My plan, if I can keep to it, is to do push-ups every second day. One day to work the muscles, one day to heal them. Repeat.

good plan, that's how ours is set out - your program seems to advance faster...
