i wouldnt attribute my fingers' frequent insistance on 1 o'clock to any understanding of time.
tomek and i had an energetic discussion about his 1 o'clock reference this morning. I thought he should have written noon, and should have referred to only a single finger. But he was thinking of a simplified digital clock while I was thinking of an analog clock. And when I said a finger more closely represents the hands on a clock than a carefully designed digital led light display, he pointed out that a finger IS a digit....
and then he proceeded to laugh like a hyena.
