see saw see saw done
I use all of the fingers of both hands to type, though I use my littlest fingers on each hand rarely.
If I pay attention to which thumb presses the space bar, I now come to realize that my left thumb does not get used at all as it is my right thumb that presses the space bar leaving my left thumb with nothing to do.
And now, by paying even closer attention, I am coming to realize that I do not use my left littlest finger at all, I use the right one occasionally to hit the enter key.
Finally, I use no toes in the process of typing.

I was taught to type using all my fingers, when I was in 7th grade. I made an inordinate number of mistakes, occasionally getting my fingers caught between the keys. Which is why I love keyboards, so much easier to correct than with paper and whiteout.
Began to type fairly well after I wrote 10K words in a month for nanowrimo. Apparently my fingers remembered, they just needed a lot of practice.
My left thumb mostly just sits there, too.
i use a total of four fingers for typing purposes.
my left thumb gets a lot of work when I am copying and pasting between two windows.
