How are the kids and missus

g-bot started grade two and is excited about it and is doing well. He will also start hockey (ice hockey for you non-Canadians) this Saturday.

c-ling has Juvenile idiopathic extended arthritis now with a flare up in the ring finger of both her left and right hands. Her only symptom is that the knuckle just past where a ring would be is swollen. There is no pain. She is on naprosyn, an NSAID, to relieve the swelling but so far it doesn't appear to be working. Apart from the arthritis she is doing well, this is her last school year not in school, she starts kindergarden next September.

v-8 is over seven months old now, she has gotten very used to sleeping in the bed with us and now we are trying to break her of that habit. A lot of screaming is involved.

The missus is doing well, her parental leave continues until mid November so she is still off of work. She started an independent consulting business with Epicure and has already sponsored two new consultants. I really hope she stays focused and remains as determined as she is now to make this a success.

Thanks for the update Phil.

My kids slept in our bed for a long time, mainly because I couldn't stand the screaming.
