A mini-van had a mudflap behind the rear left tire, but not the rear right.

I bet I know what happened. He backed up over a gutter and one wheel has grabbed the mud flap.
That has happened to me at least. It made a horrible noise like I had hit something. I got out of the car and circled it twice and couldn't see anything amiss. When I got home hubby saw it instantly and he made me go back and retrieve the mudflap.
