My elbows did not suffer the same dryness that others have suffered this winter. In fact, they are not nearly as stubborn as my middle child.

My knuckles were only very slightly dry this winter, but not nearly as bad as they were last winter. El Niño has something to do with it.

The new part of me that suffered dryness worse than any other this year is at the joining end of the helix of the pinna. Periodically I have had to apply some moisturizer to dissuade this dryness from expanding.

Some people refer to their martinis as dry. I don't drink martinis.
