parenthetically devouring osmosis

I've got a monster of a Zebra printer at my desk, it is a 110Xi4 (203dpi). I tested it for the first time yesterday just with it's own functionality. Wow - is it loud!

Well, at least much louder than the Zebra LP2844, Zebra LP2844-Z and Zebra TLP2824 that I have at my desk.

If you have a desk, do you have anything upon it that is loud?
