I think this whole work 5 days have 2 days off is terribly out of balance. Not just for me, but I believe everyone globally who works a regular 5/2 work cycle should have their work schedule changed to be 4/3. For all of those who work irregular shifts, they should have 20% less hours scheduled per week.
Yes the world economy would slow down, but if this policy was applied globally, no one company or nation would be disadvantaged.
In other news, I did not purchase a new pair of shoes over the weekend.

what if we did two more hours of work for those four days? wouldnt that stabilize and off set the third day off?
My husband used to work extra hours so that once a fortnight he had an extra day off.
I can't do the extra hours on those four days because my kids have after school activities that, at least for some of them, require me to take them to the activity.
We don't have fortnights here.
