I played hooky from work on Wednesday afternoon (actually, made up for hours worked on the past weekend and an evening or two) and raked the front lawn: 17 additional bags. The two trees in the front have remaining in them perhaps only one more bag's worth.
The back yard I rake into the back of the yard, I no longer bag.
Raked leaves yesterday: 17 bags.
Total leaf bag count: 34 bags.

Do you ever bash the trees with your rake to try to get more leaves?
No. Too much effort when they will fall all on their own.

You are lucky to live in a place where there are trees to occupy you with their fallen leaves to rake up!
