I start work at eXplorance.com on Monday doing software implementation. I have three months of probation until a higher salary and other benefits kick in, so I would like to make a terrific impression right from the start. As such, there is the potential that my blogging and hubbing may diminish for a while. I dare not do either from work, and I'll be busy with chores, kids homework and doing extra job-work in the evening.
It will have been a bit over six weeks that I was unemployed. Not too bad.
The salary I'll be earning is less than what I was earning before, but at this point I figure it is better to take the job, do my best and hope to get increases that within a few years will have me back up to where I was.

Oh, I had to delete the chicken comment. That was a rant about my spouse on the site he doesn't read, written in the middle of the night, now amended.

Well that is a relief. Having a job that pays lower is better than having no job at all.
As for sporadic blogging, your blog is the only one I read that has a daily post (almost), so I think I can live with sporadic.
Deb, indeed, with a recession well underway I feel it is better to be working.
