reaching out and freeing

This has been mostly a non-winter here. Hardly any snow and hardly any cold days. I think we've had a little bit more than average of freezing rain, but apart from that it has been a mild winter.

We've still had the cold spell of only reaching -12C or -15C for a few days in a row, a few times this winter, however, I don't think we ever dropped below that. In past winters it was not unknown to have two or three deep cold spells where the high for the day was -20C or colder for four to five days at a time. Not so far this year.

Yes, climate change is having an effect here, as I am sure it is where you are.

We had an exceptionally mild summer. Climate change indeed.
