real travel cancelled, potential to be confirmed next week

The customer in TO has elected to pay for six months of dedicated professional services from my company which postpones the training until August or September, so the imminent trip to TO is no longer imminent. So instead of me training the customer on how they can use our software, I will be doing the heavy lifting of the software for them for the next six months.

UniSA has committed to confirming the training dates by early next week, so I should know soon about the travel. The CEO of my company, who can make such decisions, is perfectly pleased with my idea of a side trip to the Gold Coast so that is looking good too.

My wife, on the other hand, is not as keen on me leaving one or two days earlier than I absolutely need to.

In other news, a slender Goliath viciously baked strawberry frosting coated chocolate cupcakes for her sister who is two and five quarter months pregnant.

Hubby informed me this morning that he is going to a conference in Adelaide in April and I could come along for the ride. I was getting all excited thinking I could save you an awful lot of travel by meeting you in Adelaide.
August in Adelaide. brrrrrr! At least you are used to the cold.

How cold is Adelaide in April?

I accompanied my wife to Las Vegas once for her business trip. That was nice.

15c (not taking in the wind chill factor) so not a problem for you at all.

Poppet, thanks, 15C would still be warmer than here where I live at that time of year.
