Fraught with inelegance, this blog will promote idiosyncracies beyond the seventh degree of wisdom.
I think it is about time that I go on another photo journalistic jaunt, much like I did here.
I have been taking the metro lately. Perhaps I will go and take photos of some of the metro stations.
Or, if you have any requests, I may heed them, or not.

Photos of the artwork in the Metro would be nice.
No, no, I love photos of metro stations. Anytime.
OK, Boston, if you get there. Use the MBTA, get a day pass, or whatever they offer. DON'T try to drive, it's a nightmare. Cabs are frightening, but sometimes necessary. Don't jaywalk in front of them, they won't stop, although they ~might~ swerve.

Try to do the Freedom Trail, red painted line on the street, Boston Common is a good place to start. It's not as patriotic (rah rah USA) as it sounds. Also the MBTA ferry from Faneuil (FAN- 'l) Hall (the best food mall/tourist trap I've ever been to) to the Navy Yards (near the Bunker Hill Monument) is the best choice for cost:entertainment ratio anywhere.
If you like Indian food, or even if you think you don't, go to India Quality. It's easy to miss, but so is anyplace else in Boston. It is the epitome of my maxim that some places can't be reached save by getting lost.

Wear really good shoes, have an umbrella, and a good map. And ask for directions, Bostonians only seem cold, they are very helpful to the lost.
