Eleven questions as asked by ghost
1. what is the name of the first person other than family members who you knew you loved? are they still in your life today?
A***A. Online only.
2. if you're married or with someone, what's your favorite part about the relationship? if you're unattached, what's your favorite part about riding solo?
I am married and one part of the relationship I enjoy is our equally applied acquiescence with respect to the division of labour and responsibility. To name a favourite is too difficult.
3. if you could live your life over again, what's the one thing you would want to change?
I do not generally regret very much; I haven't the memory to do that. I suppose if I could have been slightly more confident in a few specific situations that would have put me in a better, or perhaps only different, position.
4. how do you make spaghetti?
I usually rely on others to make spaghetti; if it was up to me, it would be a jar of pre-prepared sauce on penne.
5. would you rather spend your vacation in the mountains or on a beach?
Probably the mountains as I am not taking to the sun as well as I did when I was a kid.
6. is there any place in the world you absolutely have to see before you kick off this mortal coil?
There isn't a place I have to see, but there are numerous places that it would be nice to have visited. I'd like to spend some time in Eastern Europe, India, Antarctica, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Peru and a number of other places.
7. what would you order as your last meal?
A really juicy medium rare cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and a Coke.
8. what five words would you use to describe yourself?
literal, napper (meaning someone who likes to nap), dedicated, dry humorist.
9. what was the last thing you remember that really made you laugh?
I laugh every day, often at what my kids come up with, but I can't recall a specific event or situation.
10. which character was your favorite on friends?
I think I liked Chandler's quips the most, but I was never a regular watcher of the show.
11. if not now, when?
As far as questions go, this is definitely one of them.
I had a lot of trouble with picking five words to describe myself. I am not in the habit of assigning labels to others, so I am out of practice to do that to myself.
Eleven questions for you
1. If a lemonade stand fell from a tree in your neighbour's front yard, would you change your mind about what would be the next movie you would watch?
2. When the rain falls outside and it is warm out, do you stay indoors at all costs or does your behaviour not change with respect to being outdoors?
3. How old were you when you first learned to ride a bicycle; if you don't remember, make up your answer, if you don't know how to ride a bike, lie, I won't know the difference.
4. How comfortable are you with lying?
5. If your favourite TV show was cancelled without warning, would you do something about it?
6. If you had the choice to become super motivated to exercise more, or super motivated to eat less and properly, which of the two motivations would you prefer to have? Why?
7. Do you have a favourite colour?
8. If you had unlimited funds to buy, own and operate a car, what car would you buy?
9. If there was one enormous infrastructural project that you would like to see happen in your city, or anywhere in the world, what would it be?
10. If you answered question number 7 with anything other than yes or no, did you read the first of the five words that I used to describe me?
11. Why do you think this meme is made of up groups of 11 components?
As for who I nominate, I will nominate Deb and zhoen. I would nominate other of my blogmates, but you've all done it already. If you've already done this, you are welcome to answer one or more of the eleven questions I have for you.

Sure, I'm out of ideas these days. Tending to be a bit sad and tired, which does not make for good reading. May not get to it until Wednesday, unless I get very bored this evening.
I do love reading these things, though.
thank you for playing along, mr. plasma.
I will do it. Eventually.
Questions/comments about facts about you:
1. You probably know how I feel about prime numbers... <3
3. How did you use it?!? what was the context?
Your questions (they are excellent, btw):
1. If a lemonade stand fell from a tree in your neighbour's front yard, would you change your mind about what would be the next movie you would watch?
Yes. I think such a thing would alter many of my perceptions & ideas about what to do next.
2. When the rain falls outside and it is warm out, do you stay indoors at all costs or does your behaviour not change with respect to being outdoors?
I try to avoid going out, yes. But if I must, I will without hesitation. I don't believe in umbrellas.
3. How old were you when you first learned to ride a bicycle; if you don't remember, make up your answer, if you don't know how to ride a bike, lie, I won't know the difference.
I was 4.
4. How comfortable are you with lying?
Surprisingly comfortable.
5. If your favourite TV show was cancelled without warning, would you do something about it?
Maybe I'd complain on Twitter or sign a petition or something, but nothing beyond that.
6. If you had the choice to become super motivated to exercise more, or super motivated to eat less and properly, which of the two motivations would you prefer to have? Why?
Exercise more. I love food too much.
7. Do you have a favourite colour?
Blue, with a tinge of orange (not quite indigo).
8. If you had unlimited funds to buy, own and operate a car, what car would you buy?
Tough - where we live, perhaps a BMW 1-series coupe. Somewhere where I could drive as fast as I wanted and there were lots of straight roads and no traffic, a Ferrari California model.
9. If there was one enormous infrastructural project that you would like to see happen in your city, or anywhere in the world, what would it be?
In Toronto, I'd love to see a subway system that extends everywhere in the greater Toronto area.
10. If you answered question number 7 with anything other than yes or no, did you read the first of the five words that I used to describe me?
Yes?
11. Why do you think this meme is made of up groups of 11 components?
In binary, 11 is 3, which is a holy number.
for #7 of phil's questions, I meant blue with a tinge of purple. I don't know why my mind said purple but my fingers said orange. Is it subliminal or subconscious or something? I can't be sure.
