So Sunday morning I awoke early, packed up, brought my stuff to the car and then went back in for breakfast, as breakfast hadn't quite yet started when I got down to the lobby.
As I was eating breakfast some of the staff exclaimed about the sunrise. Here's the one photo I took of it, the reflect lights are the ceiling lights in the dining room of the hotel restaurant.
Then I hit the road for the drive from St. John's to Grand Falls/Windsor. I made one stop in Clarenville for a bathroom and snack break.
Below are the scenic photos I took while driving.
Along one stretch the trees looked very snowy.
At some high points in the road I could see quite far.
In other places the rock came up quite high. It is no wonder this island is often called 'The Rock'.
The photo doesn't do justice for how bright this natural gas flare was. I could see it from very far before I reached it.
One of the few spots where the road stayed reasonably straight; most of the drive was made up of many curves and a number of ups and downs, though none particularly severe.

Thanks for taking the time to post these photos. The sunrise looks lovely. I'd love to go and see that
Beautiful place.
The drive looks a little grey... the rest looks good!
It was because of the weather and the windshield that wasn't always clean. The sky was medium grey cloudy for the whole drive.
