different life?
I don't generally have regrets or even pay particular attention to things that have happened in the past all that much.
Occasionally, though, I do think about choices I have made and how different my life would be (would have been) had I chosen differently.
So a coworker this morning mentions that he has not yet come to know everyone in this small company I am working in and now that new employees have come in, he is even less knowledgeable about who the new people are. He then said it would be easier if we all had numbers, so I asked him what number would he like, he said '13 - I like this number, it's my birthday'.
I offered up 'i' as the number I would pick, the imaginary number.
This got me to thinking that having done Electrical Engineering as my university degree doesn't appear to have served me very much as I do not do nor have I done anything related to electrical engineering since I graduated. So what would I have done instead?

I like 42, and often use it in passwords. But I have a soft spot for π.
