Garden bed weeding - very much over grown.

Same one, after weeding, did not do a complete job, but at least weeded where the vegetables are.

The carrots are doing well; for the first time I just lined the row with seeds and then thinned them out. Next time I will go back to dropping seeds one by one as I found that less tedious than the thinning.

I only planted a few lettuce seeds as we get a lot of lettuce from our CSA.

The decorative bed also over grown with weeds.

Weeded around the flowers and especially around the hostas that aren't growing very much; but as I just planted them this spring I'm not expecting much. Probably their focus is under the surface and next year they'll get bigger.

Not a lot of weeding to do in this one, for whatever reason. Still the strawberry plants (three in the center) have shown no activity whatsoever. I'm hoping to see something next spring. The dwarf sun flowers along the right side are doing fine, as are the parsnips along the bottom.

Along the left edge is where most of the weeds were that I removed.

Indeed... we had a lot of rain this Spring; but even in average rain we get this much green.
