on the Paris metro

So yesterday on the metro home, it was likely around 8:00PM, where we sat there was a young woman holding a single rose. At one point I happened to look at her and she had been and continued to look directly at me. I looked away, she persisted, I looked back, she persisted, I maintained, she persisted, I smiled, she smiled.

It was an odd experience as normally metro etiquette deems we do not make such eye contact.

Later on in the ride she was paying very close attention to the conversation two of my friends were having, looking back and forth between them as they spoke to each other. After all of this happened, my friends maintained that she was likely drunk.

Before she got off the train she looked back at me and I at her and I smiled and so did she.

As a Paris experience, this one was fourth tier but still managed to make it to my blog.

I loved those odd little moment of public big city life, which I got in Boston.
