A lack luster attempt at robbing an ant hill was an idea that occupied a quadragenarian as she meandered peacefully with her mind wandering as the world around her fell to pieces.

That some people can maintain peace at times that others would panic is a testament to the multitude of natures people can have. The most pragmatic unemotional response to a matter of little importance as compared to the vitriolic piercing bellow reaction to a devastating event with all of the in-between range of responses, all are part of what it is to be human.

I can not recall ever having had a vitriolic piercing bellow erupt from within me; perhaps that speaks to the number of events I've found to be devastating through my life. I suppose this is either good news for me, or evidence that I live in ignorance of the difficult times.
