I suppose I could have made multiple posts but since this is my blog, I can do what I want.

On Tuesday this past week I went to play i/g at the church and on the way home encountered this:

Don't get to see rainbows too often.

On Thursday morning on a walk I decided to photograph the art that my city commissioned in a walking area very close to where I live.

A little further there is a park called Sunnyside park where the city has planted some trees. Conveniently, still at this time, they have identification tags on them.

At home I created this chart to show what their typical maximum height and diameter will be once they've matured and what their common name is.

I expect to continue to live in Pointe-Claire for at least the next five years and probably the next ten, so I will enjoy watching these newly planted trees grow.

Then, Thursday evening, I went to Molson Stadium as part of McGill's campus to watch the Montreal Alouettes play the Edmonton Elks in CFL Football. I took their suggestion and disembarking from Place-des-Arts metro took the free STM shuttle bus up the hill to the stadium. Where we exited the bus there was still a significant walk, though it wasn't up hill. I was not a big fan of this experience so on future games I attend I will just get off at McGill metro and walk up to the stadium.

Before the game started it can be seen I was sitting close to the Edmonton bench, and if I looked to my left I could see the Montreal one further along.

Here is a video I hope will work of a successful Montreal passing play.

You can see by the score card below that we were ahead 24-12 at half time, and even after the end of the third quarter we were ahead 31-18.

Disastrously, neither our offence could score any points in that fourth quarter and our defense was unable to stop the Elks.
