At each time I go to give blood they take the measurements above. Through October, November and December my blood pressure was considerably elevated. At my 135th donation last night, you can see from the readings above that my blood pressure readings are now in great shape.

This is because I have added an almost daily brisk walk to my exercise routine. I've done the two below regularly since late December:

7.25 km loop - 72 minutes walking

12km loop ~2hr walk

I have been walking the routes independent of the weather, so some of those days it was particularly cold for the first 10-15 minutes, but then the brisk walking raises my temperature and by the time I come home I am all sweaty. I tend to do the longer walk of the two above when I know I have more time; but between the two I have no preference, I can and do do either of them almost every day.

Once in the spring it warms up to above 10c, I'll start running again instead of these brisk walks; though I may occasionally do these through the spring, summer and fall as well.
