The fourth quarter out of five had its bomb dropped this morning, so now the four local quarters of the five quarters have had their bombs dropped with only one quarter having pushed back, citing 'ultimatum' as the problem. I had no choice.

Went to my parents house today, after brunch at a resto, assisted my dad in raking the multiple branches in the backyard to the outer edges so that he could then pass the lawn mower without having so many branches to deal with. It is the first time in years I have encountered as many mosquitoes as I had. The backyard had many of them. I got bit perhaps four or five times. Fortunately I hardly react - I can feel the mosquito as it bites me, sometimes I leave it, sometimes I smack it and sometimes I flick it. The bite mark on my skin is visible for an hour or two, mostly faded three to four hours later and there is no evidence of a bite subsequently. It helps that the bite does not itch and nor do I scratch it.
