I get confused trying to work out which are my earliest memories and which I merely remember watching videos of.
I do remember possibly my first day at school, when I met my first friend. We played "chase your shadow". Remarkably entertaining. He left school when I was 7... I never saw him again.
Wouldn't it be interesting if we brought forward memories from lives we are not currently living?
I remember getting in trouble at a daycare for throwing stuffed animals instead of napping. And when we had snacks we sat on overturned buckets. And some older kids stood in front of us and sang and mimed that "fly away Peter, fly away Paul" blackbird song.
It's a blur...
I can actually remember laying on a blanket, at some sort of a picnic or something, and looking around at all the sights and sounds. The memory is sort of blury, but definitely burned into my memory. I can also remember laying in, what I am assuming to be a baby crib, next to, kind of under a window, looking up at the whiteness of the light coming from under the window and being overwhelmed by the light. Strange, huh?
Dog-onit, Phil. Now I'm going to have to stop working and write a poem about this...I didn't realize you were going to put me to work here today.
I remember when I was about 2, looking out my bedroom window at my big brother playing in the back yard with the neighbourhood kids when I was supposed to be napping. I was so jealous.
Wow, a lot of excellent replies! Thanks, everyone for posting.

i remember you and your friend who played chase the shadows with you
the reason he disappeared is that he got killed in an accident playing "chase your shadow" on a dark moonless night
