unique reciprocality

Spuriously deriding the unkempt and vacillating between oxmiferity and sprungilocks, gargantuan pods of unruly tyke inhibitors boast cantankerously in denial.

Fledgeling marsupials evoked serendipitous calamities from the plain dank. These marginal catastrophes waxed incessantly and reverberated blindly.

Towards the shallow end, then.

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

gaaaaaaahhh.. too early in the morning for me. I'll come back again when I've had, say, 17 1/2 cups of coffee.

Phil you confuddle me. Something about swimming koalas... where do you get your words from? what do you read? i'm intrigued. I want a better vocabulary.

Careful what your wishing for.

He's got lots of vocabularity.
But communification...that's something else.

phx - I get my words more by writing rather than by reading. Sometimes I'll think of a word to put in a sentence and figure it doesn't exactly fit the meaning I want, so I'll use a thesaurus to look at all of the other words that can fit in its place. Once I find one I make sure to look up the definition of that word to be sure I am using it correctly (or as near correct as can be in some of my writings). I have a bar in my toolbar in IE that is from dictionary.com (which also happens to have a thesaurus), and so it is really easy.

This post wasn't really meant to mean anything, just a fun trip through vocabulary city. I at least tried to make the adjectives match the nouns and the adverbs match the verbs.

Also note that oxmiferous and sprungilocks are invented words long ago inspired by the Lewis Carrol poem that Anonymous posted.

snarkle - when I mean to be understood, I usually am.
