What to do with ceremonial soup?

So as many of you have been made aware of my impending departure, it has come up from two seperate sources that the future of Ceremonial Soup hasn't been made clear. I won't make this a democratic choice as much as I will make it a socialist one - what choice is best for all of us. So, among the options found below, please choose one which you find is the best for all of us, and I will then choose the one that most of us think is best. Keep in mind that my ability to post to Ceremonial Soup will be drastically reduced, and that my ability to respond to any comments left therein will be negligible at best.

Option 1: Completely remove the blog such that it would appear I had never existed.
Option 2: Leave the blog but remove the ability of anyone to add any comments to any post.
Option 3: Leave the blog, allow comments, turn on word verification and make anonymous posts illegal.
Option 4: Leave the blog, allow comments as it is currently.

Let me know your choice and your thoughts...

Hmmm... I think option 2 might be wisest, although option 3 might turn it into an exciting meta-blog! Definitely not one though.

Depends. I wouldn't remove the blog althogether. I mean, your just taking a long break, right. Your not dying. You mean you will have absolutely no access to the blog not even for one or two post per month? I mean, I have no idea what you do, but I get the idea that you are in the computer field to some degree, so maybe you could slip in one or two of your quick nonsenicle(sp) post. If I were you, I'd blog (post) once or twice a month. You might leave it open to specific people to comment, or at least non anonymous comments. That way when you return, you wont have a mail box full of blog spams.

Everything that I have been led to believe thus far from students who have already done the first three months is that the largest portion of my non asleep time will be utterly consumed. If I can post to the blog once a week, or twice a month, I will, but from this side of the training I'll be doing, it isn't clear that I will be able to. In other words, I can commit to nothing right now.

Option 3b. Includes all of option 3 but adds cash prizes to readers who come back after your hiatus.
