blandness as a copious virtue

mundane boredom mixed with doing little or nothing, aligned with thinking about nothing and just sitting there staring into space without focus...

The ability to be that way on command is a virtue as it assists in calming from a peak of frenetic or hormonally driven exacerbated behavior.

I do that every afternoon when my hubby gets home. Cup of coffee, a nice comfy chair, sit outside, catch a cool breeze & watch the world go by. We don't talk much if at all. Just sits 'n thinks, mostly I don't even thinks. I thoroughly recommend it.
