turning left while standing still

Placating the youth by showering them in ice cream creates a very sloppy mess. The kids would be happy, however.

Breakfast plans made can be broken, but shouldn't be.

Slapstick comedy requires neither a slap, nor a stick. Asparagus.

Battacchio—called the 'slap stick' in English—a club-like object composed of two wooden slats used in Commedia dell'arte. When struck, the battacchio produces a loud smacking noise, though little force is transferred from the object to the person being struck. Actors may thus hit one another repeatedly with great audible effect while causing very little actual physical damage.

I don't know that I've ever seen slapstick that didn't include as least one slap, and usually at least one stick as well.

Have you ever heard of the asparagus fern? It is a weed here and is causing a fair bit of environmental damage here in Queensland.
It looks nothing like asparagus.
