driving
I was cutoff this morning but fortunately I was fully aware of my surroundings and could see that this was about to happen. I got to honk at the person.
Following that I was in the wrong lane as I was in the lane with the slow driver in it ahead of me. I wasn't in a hurry, but some people drive exceptionally slowly.
At a red light a little futher along I was second behind a car in front of me. When the light went green the driver did not immediately move. I feel a certain responsibility, if I am at the very front and the first to go on green, to pay very close attention to the changing of the lights. I guess other people do not feel that level of consideration.
I arrived safely at work this morning.

I only honk at people if I think I am in danger, like when someone is backing up and they are obviously unaware I'm there. Honking when annoyed serves no purpose. What I HATE is morons driving while on cell phones. The way I see it, they are putting my life at risk just so they can make some stupid pointless conversation with their buddy. It is illegal to use them while driving in Australia but every second person does it anyway.
The last line is the most important. Also important to stay calm, and know that shouting and swearing will in no way make anyone else a better driver, and will in fact make the shouter a worse one. Hard to remember this, very very hard some days.
