More practice of people parts. Very carefully measured and proportioned the skeletal foot. Was careless and did not bother with the four feet below it, and it shows.


I used my own hand as the model for these two. Drew the negative space first in the left one, made it much easier to do.


I'll be missing the next two classes because I will be in Australia.

life drawing is a tough class. i truly believe the hardest things to draw on earth are hands and feet.

At least you can practice hands and feet drawing, as you always have models to hand, or foot.

yep, there is no question that getting hands just right is no easy feet, erm, feat.

Indeed, there are plenty of models out there, my own hands seem to always (or almost, anyhow) be available.

You seem to be very good at drawing bones.

Deb, it is because I am drawing directly from a photocopy of a picture of the subject I am drawing. Copying like that is fairly easy.
