Every surgeon I know from Johns Hopkins has been an arrogant bastard. Most of them have also been excellent surgeons. So, is it bragging if it's true?
There is something to be said for being humble.
Yes, I can see JH out of my hotel window, but I'm here to train Loyola Maryland, the other end of the Blue line.
Lots of trees that end of town. And churches. I'm guessing there are a lot of intelligent, rich, religious people there.
