So, the People's Gospel Choir of Montreal came to our church tonight as part of our ongoing concert series to raise funds for the new roof our church requires.

Whenever I witness live music, since I have no musical ability, there are two thoughts that run through me.

How boring it must eventually get to sing the same songs, and perform the same routine over and over. Think of Celine Dion who did more or less the same routine, X nights per week for five or more years in Vegas.

How thrilling it must be, each time, to have this fantastic opportunity to perform. The thrill of being on stage and being in front of people; giving them the time of their life.

I guess it is the latter of the two that is more prominent, as otherwise bands would not tour and have shows as often as they do.
