parrots and bats

When the coal miners mind their consistency, they know best the method of answering enigmatic crossword questions. Punishing their pet aqueous solution solves only the least probable of problems. There are those who would argue that there are degrees of correctness. Others would argue there are degrees of Fahrenheit. I do not know who would win these arguments, but what I do know is that finding the lowest spot can have advantages.

Found out that a nautical mile is roughly a minute of longitude, particularly at the equator.

Yes, I learned about that in ATC school, a sad memory that persists.
