breaking the bank's telemetry

It hasn't been warmer than -24C for the past couple of days and yesterday was also quite windy so the cold felt that much more bitter.

I heard on the radio this morning that the JFK airport was shutdown because of the amount of snow that has fallen.

Here we are supposed to get some snow on Sunday this coming weekend. Currently they are predicting 20cm's, but this prediction can go either way this early. What has happened so far this winter is that more snow has fallen than predicted, most of the time.

If this post was any dryer I wouldn't wring out of it even a drop.

Meanwhile, here in Queensland, we have been getting above average temperatures. Brisbane is facing 40 degrees today. On the GC we are expecting a little less. The air-con will be getting a workout today.
