When the tree bends but does not sink

As a pocket, there are two things that a person ought to know. One, you will come to know a world of lint that no other will ever know.

Torn between sticking with our existing financial planner who just yesterday showed some evidence of actually taking an interest in our affairs, or leaving him to go with the new guy that has a different plan of action for us. On the one hand we've been with the first guy for almost ten years, on the other, the new guy is much closer to our age.

I don't think I'll be going to Mexico tomorrow.

The new guy may have something new to offer.

Sounds like you're feeling a little guilty maybe. How does your wife feel about it, idles she feel comfortable telling the old FP it's over? Would you be this concerned if you changed banks, same thing sort of.

What made you consider changing FPs anyway?

My wife doesn't really trust our existing one and so this is why we even opened up the dialog with the new one.

Given this, most likely we will change, I just don't want to be the one who breaks the news.

It's a change of professionals, no explanations are required.
