Letter to the federal government

I emailed my member of parliament and cc'ed the Prime Minister, the Foreign Affairs Minister and the Defense Minister:

Dearest Mr. Scarpaleggia,

First, congratulations on winning in Lac. St Louis, my riding.

Second, thank you for representing us (the West Island of Montreal) in parliament.

Third, and most importantly, please reconsider the withdrawal of active forces from the Middle East in light of the recent terrorist activities in Beirut and Paris. I appreciate that an election campaign promise by the Liberal Party of Canada was to withdraw from active duty in that area, however, times have changed and the call to be active members of a force against the ISIS Caliphate tyranny should not be ignored.
