Twice, not thrice or bison
It is what it is, and it couldn't be anything else. It could be one more time than that, or twice the times that it wasn't. When referring to things only by personal pronouns, not ever having introduced the subject, must become an irritant to the reader. For the writer (at least in this case), it is mostly inconsequential.
That the entire of the previous paragraph was written to allow for a fifteen letter word to be used should come as no surprise to anyone who reads this blog regularly.
That anyone reads this blog regularly would come as a surprise to the author, as there is no 'comment' evidence that this is so.
This does not appear to hold me back from posting posts such as this one, however. It seems, I will keep writing until well past even my own expiry.
