A few years ago the youth club in my church received a table tennis table and they used it at their Friday night gatherings. Since the pandemic, the youth club hasn't been meeting and the table was put into storage.

Back when I was in high school I had a good friend who had such a table, I posted a bit about that here.

Later, after my workplace at the time expanded allowing for a central atrium that had the space for a table I played table tennis with my friends pretty much every day, this was in the early aughts and lasted for three or four years.

In mid-November I asked the priest of my church if he wanted to play and he said yes, so we've been playing three times a week since then. Here is half of the church basement's hall with the table in place and three tables on the back side set up to prevent the ball from rolling too far away.

You can see that there is plenty of room to play. It has made me really happy to be playing again. We play for one hour sessions where the first 50-53 minutes are just rallying back and forth and then we play two or three official games at the end. I have been winning almost every match with scores like 11-3, 11-4, 11-5.

Back pre-pandemic I noticed there was a Meetup Group that would meet at a place downtown that had table tennis tables and it was an open invitation to join whomever else goes there to play. I was hesitant to join because, well, for one it is outside of my comfort zone to meet new people all at once like this would have been, and two, I hadn't played in many years and would prefer to join them having at least some recent experience. Well, now I have the recent experience which would give me enough confidence to join this Meetup Group once the pandemic is done with. I am keen on this as I think it will be fun to have different opponents.
