Neil Peart passes

It was with sad news that I learned this past weekend that RUSH drummer Neil Peart died January 7th after having lost a three year battle with brain cancer.

Back when I was in high school one of my better friends was a big RUSH fan and so he introduced a group of us to RUSH music. Through my life I've gone to a few of their concerts, have owned numerous cassettes, CDs, albums and videos. I was fortunate to go to their R40 tour, which was the last tour the band would play; and also from that tour ordered the DVD. I think what I may do is add an entry into my calendar to watch that DVD every Jan 7 that comes along.
