So last night after we ate supper in our apartment we went to the Hotel de Ville where there is an ice skating place where we were going to rent skates, but we were too late as they stopped renting the skates before we arrived. So we walked to the Loevre museum, though it was closed, just to see what it looks like lit up at night.

A neat shot with the moon above the pyramid.

The next three shots are from the Notre Dame Cathedral, the place we visited after we visited St. Chapelle.

There is the possibility to climb the 382 steps to the top of the tower in this cathedral and on the way up we saw this guy:

We also saw this guy:

Once at the top I was able to take these three photos, among others.

We've seen quite a few metro stations but this one in particular looked nice.

After Notre Dame Cathedral we went to the crypt underneath it, which was interesting. Then we took the metro to go to the catacombs and there was an hour long queue to get in. While we were waiting, a pro-life protest was happening right in the square immediately adjacent to the entrance. Here are some people climbing the lion statue.

Here is a small section of the people participating, with their flags.

After the catacombs we went to the pantheon, and after that we made our way, somewhat haphazardly, to a really nice restaurant where we had a terrific time.

When I was in Paris we happened to visit Notre Dame on a Sunday while a service was being held. The choir/music was breathtaking, so much beauty. We went back a few days later and it was not nearly as good.

Montmartre. Stupid autocorrect.

We not only visited Notre Dame during a service, but we participated in it, being Catholic.

We are going to Montmartre tomorrow.

I like your bored Grotesque.

Actually, I like all your images, including the Very Symbolic moon at the top of the Pyramid.
